So, we just made the move to CT…hence the reason there have been no blog posts. I’ll give you a quick update, and then it’ll be a few more days until I post again.
Life as we know it is VERY crazy… and strangely calm…emotions are all over the chart, time change is messing up Isaiah, and consistency is highly lacking!! I have never been one for consistency… or so I thought, and now… I CRAVE IT!
Casey has started his job, and although he has a long commute, he loves it! He is in sales now, and as far as I know, he’s totally in his element! He got a Blackberry from work. This is not me bragging. This is Tanya complaining. From what i know when work gives you a Blackberry, they control your life! It dings all the time with emails, and is always by ones side… I was very proud of him yesterday when we were relaxing and it was not in sight or on his person! YAY!
Isaiah is 10 months now… AHH. He has grown SO much since my 9 month update (update is soon to come). Within 24 hours of being in my parent’s house he has learned to climb the stairs. IT was almost like he already knew, but he hasn’t climbed stairs once in his life yet! Arizona houses rarely have stairs and the one friend that did, well, it didn’t end well for Isaiah there! He loves all the space to crawl and explore, and Oma has so many toys to enjoy!
As for myself, I am doing well. It was very had the first 24 hours. I felt like I could cry at the drop of a hat…or more like I DID cry… at the drop of a hat. Connecticut is so different from Arizona. Casey and I spent 20 months of our married life in AZ and only 11 months in CT, so we really did start to build “home” there. Being back is great, I have a few very close friends that I have already spent a lot of time with, and that has been GREAT. I do greatly miss the large community of young mom’s we had, and the great great girlfriends I made. One of my best friends moved into our apartment with her family, and I am so happy for them, but it makes me so sad for some strange reason! One of my other best friends has been sick. I wish I could bring her ice cream because I know that’s what she loves!!
So, as you see, it has been a busy time. I miss Arizona, but I love Connecticut. I have loved being back, but I am ready for consistency. We are ready to find/develop our place in this community, and ready for the Lord to use us.
Here are a few pics of the little man from my phone… what’s a blog post without a few pictures??
Love you Tanya! I’ll be praying for some consistency for you guys (and that that blackberry doesn’t steal Casey from you 😉 ) Miss you a lot, but I know God has a lot in store for you in CT!
Practicing potty training already? I wouldn’t let him crawl around that area too much…you know B misses sometimes;)
Hahaha, B should learn to have better aim now that there are little ones on their hands and knees!! 😉
I miss you. Can’t wait till we can visit!! Praying for you always, friend. Loves. xoxo
I miss you too! Glad we finally have some sun today!
