You are 10 months old now…well technically you are 10 months and 10 days. The past month has been a crazy month in our lives with a lot of changes. You dad got a new job in Connecticut and so we’ve moved back home and are living with Oma and Opa right now. They are so thrilled to have us here, and are even more thrilled to have YOU here… it really is very fun watching you play with them! Speaking about fun, the plane ride here was so great! You did SO well, it was the best flight we’ve ever taken with you. You played on the ground, you drank water from dad’s cup for the first time and loved it, you watched The Wiggles on the laptop AND you slept! It was a complete success!
The transition to the new time and place we’re living in has really been very easy. You are such an adaptable little guy, your dad and I really appreciate that! It only took 3 days or so to adjust to the new time zone and develop a new schedule. You have no problem sleeping in the new room and we’re looking forward to getting your crib in the room for you! Some times when I’m watching you on the monitor I see you sitting in there and clapping your hands, way too cute!
This month you haven’t grown or changed too much, you are just continuously developing your independence and personality. You love to play with toys and are such a good independent player. You are walking all around furniture, chairs, tables, and anything you can hold onto. Yesterday you took your first few steps!! We are SO excited for you to walk and feel like it’ll be happening so soon! Oh, and you also try to say YAYY and raise your hands in the air when we do it. We love it!
You are eating so much…. actually you would eat all the time if you could… and you are STILL below the 20th percentile for weight! You’re eating a lot of what we eat if it doesn’t have too much flavoring to it and if it’s soft enough. You LOVE holding a banana and eating it, you love watermelon and graham crackers. Yesterday I made some pears for you but instead of pureeing them I gave you little pieces of them for dinner and squished up a few for breakfast! What a great way to have food for each meal!
We have so much fun with you Isaiah and can’t believe you will be a year old in only two months!!! You fell asleep laying on my chest today and it basically made my day. You are so big, and never do that anymore… it was so relaxing and just amazing. I love taking time out of my day to snuggle with you, and pray that as you grow up we continue to have times to cuddle and snuggle. I love you baby boy… stop growing so fast!!!
