Decorating Our House

I am so excited to close on our house on August 1st, and I’ve had MANY people ask me if I like decorating. The answer to that question is: I like it but I am NOT good at it!!! If I had all the money in the world and I could buy everything I would want then I’d be good at it, BUT since we have just bought the house, money’s TIGHT!

I have started searching different blogs and found a few fun ideas!

Here is the first:

I think I can handle fabric covered canvas wall art! I’ll save my Michael’s and JoAnn Fabric coupons and this look can’t cost that much, right!?

Here is the second idea I have found on one of my best friend’s sister’s blog:

The catch is that on April’s blog, she explains how to make one of these for $15 bucks!!!! I CAN DO THAT!!!!!!

The third idea I found for Isaiah to do for his room are finger painted canvas art! I was searching google and found a blog of a mother that shares fun craft ideas!!

If you have any other ideas for me, please share them!!!!

Love all of those ideas! Fabric covered canvas is great! I totally did the finger painting with Taran for his room and then added some little touches with art paper and modge podge. They look great and are so personal! Have a blast decorating! 🙂

Love it! Watch “Get It Sold” on HGTV… Sabrina Soto has tons of cheap decorating ideas! (Obviously you’re buying, not selling…but you still can gain a lot of ideas from those kind of shows)

  4. Those are awesome ideas! Devin and I just bought some black contact paper that we’re going to use to make some tiled chalk boards to hang on the wall. Right now my plan is to draw frames around the edges and someday they’ll be great for kids! 🙂

  5. Hello, Neat post. There is a problem with your web site in web explorer, would test this?
IE still is the market leader and a big section of other people will miss your wonderful writing due to
    this problem.
